So I've been looking at a few pairs of J skis lately and I was wondering if they're worth saving for. Some opinions from previous owners would be sweet!

I wasn't a fan of the whip-its. Very very soft skis and the top sheets started peeling off. Maybe some of the other models are better.

i've owned 3 sets of whipits and really they're only good for rails, small-medium jumps and maybe a little bit of fresh snow on the mountain. they're not as durable as i'd like (de-laminated after 3 months of riding) but J has a killer warranty and hooked me up with a fresh set of sticks within a week. that being said they are by far the most fun park ski i've ridden and i'm willing to drop the cash for something i like over domains or something.

I think for most kids on ns they are a good fit.

Whipits were an awesome ski. They have alot of pop, super light and are super playful, but still stable enough to hit 50 footers. I absolutely loved mine, unfortunately my edge ripped out. Great while they were functioning though!

the hype is from the massive amount of advertising they do on this site, I sorta liked them but they just felt dead to me, not allot of pop and way too long of a turning radius. sold them after 2 days on them. Always have been a fan of armadas hybrid park and all mtn skis.

im surprised to see this much positivity about them in one thread, seems like these days everyone has something bad to say about them.
I have owned two pairs of whipits, i still have both pairs. In my experience they have been really fun and i love buttering around on them. I recommend them. Only thing is now im looking to get some stiffer skis just because ive only ever owned noodles

Although I generally like stiffer skis, the whip it is easily the funnest ski I have ever skied on because for small hills and docking around you won't find a better ski
