Backland 109 mounting point

I'm looking at picking up some Atomic Backland 109's in a 189 length and I'm not sure where to mount them. I won't be skiing them switch that much, but I am thinking of mounting them forward as i like a little bit of tail to work with and I want to make them ski a little shorter. I've heard recommendations that the Automatic be mounted about 2cm forward from recommended, so I was thinking somewhere around there, but I'm interested in other opinions.

I am not sure where the recommended mounting point is, but I would not go too far forward. You can usually get away with mounting a more freestyle based ski in front of the recommended line. The Backlands are meant to be ridden how Sage rides, with lots of 3s and forward riding.
I would personally say mount on the recommended line, but if you do move them forward I wouldn't go more than 2cm.

so i have the automatic 109s which are basically the same ski as far as i know. The rec line is super far back. i skied them at rec line for a season and although they are great for skiing pow forward they felt abit unbalanced when going for spins or dropping cliffs etc
Im going to remount mine abit further forward, i was thinking somewhere between 3 and 5cm but im yet to have a proper look at what the binding looks like on the ski in each position.
i'll report back once ive done it this week
