Recently sold all my gear and bought:
4FRNT Attack 16 with 130 mm brakes
Atomic Bent Chetler 192 cm 2015/2016 model
6'3 and 185 lbs
27.5 boot size
I've tried looking up the mount location and there are tons of threads about it but rarely a clear answer for proper mount location.
I was hoping someone could clarify what I have deduced from the threads.
Actual Ski Length = 190.5 cm
(TC) True Center = 95.25 cm
(TL) Team Line Mount Location = -2.5 cm from TC
(FR) Factory Recommendation = -3.5 from TC
I am a "traditional" skier with no switch,d-spins or major hucks but I enjoy playing on natural features and powder hunting
There were a few threads mentioning that CB himself mounts at the TL (-2.5cm) and suggested that for a more traditional skier -3.5 cm would be perfect.
Seems like -3.5 cm from TC would be the best mount, however I dont want to loose the playfullness of the ski that everyone talks about
Can anyone speak to this?
Also, when measuring for TC am I supposed to use the base of the ski or the topsheet side?
Base is what I would imagine
Thanks
