Gun deer season 2016

Any of you nerds just as stoked for whitetail season over the next couple weeks as you are for skiing?

Just bought my tags and sighted in my rifle. Opening day is on Saturday in Wisco, so i'm probably going to check out my stand and set up camp on Friday with my dad and a few of his buddies.

Hoping for a year like 2015, with more antlers.

Cant wait! I hunt in wisconsin also but live in MN so i get to buy the stupid expensive out of state tag. I hunt on my grandpas land up near eau Claire.

Really weird weather this year, not a lot of deer moving

Today is the opener and no one had a buck hanging at lunch...we have 10 people out hunting

Only got out once in the shotgun zone where I live, it's closed over here now. Still have one more weekend to hunt up north (rifle). Not sure if I'll hunt or finish building a tow rope at my friend's house. Probably finish the tow rope because it's going to snow.. Wouldn't be surprised if we're shredding this weekend. Stoked

As long as you eat the meat there is no issue with hunting. I actually support hunting to eat. If you waste the meat then you are a worthless fuck.

I have a lot of friends that hunt in Southeastern MN and last year a lot of them took some big deer. Haven't seen too many big guys this year.

Hoping to get some antlers this year. First time hunting in a while. Been slaying ducks and raccoons this whole fall so hopefully deer season is the same way.

Thats where i hunt and ya it was slow for us and everyone we talked to. Ive also never sweat so much in my life. Climbing the bluffs all day when its 70 degrees was brutal
