I'm 6'3 and 185 lbs

Which one is burlier and charges better?

Are you looking for a ski to just go balls to the wall fast down everything or are you looking for playful powder boards but would prefer the one that "charges" better than others?

Yep exactly... I currently have JJ 2.0 but looking for a stiffer ski that's more stable

Magic Js seemed like the next step for stability and I don't mind the 127mm waist but the Bent Chetlers have good reviews and people seem to love them...

^ Liberty seems to lack a little bit in durability. But our mountain up here is also quite rocky

for resort conditions unless you are using them exclusively on days with a foot of fresh to Magic j is too fat. If you are looking for a good powder ski that is stable and performs in the deep id recommend checking out the bibby pro. Thats what I use as my resort pow ski and it is very stable.

between the two you've mentioned i think the bent chetler would be more suitable for your needs.

I agree, the chet would be the better of the two. I think the Bibby sounds like the perfect ski for you

Something to think about, The Bibby is more likely to last several seasons than an armada. I have friends who have probably put close to 500 days on Bibbys and they are still solid. Same with an offering from 0N3P

It wouldn't hurt to reach out to the guys at moment and see if they have any old stock. I got my bibbys a model year old for 45% off and my buddy got some ghost trains for like 40% off. Mine were listed online, but my buddy reached out to them and found out they had one more pair left in his size.

They're super durable and would certainly last couple seasons without much fuss, unless you're really abusing them.

I ski an opus most days. Love that ski. I charge pretty well on it in the 185. But I'm pretty light

Some people saying you cant ski magic j in resort without a foot of fresh obviously have never ridden the ski, I love mine. They plow crud pretty well and definitely love to fly and are super fun in bowls etc. they are amazing in pow as well... would recommend and they havent changed much in the last few years so can probably find a pair cheap. They do occasionally chatter on hardpack but nothing too bad. Ive heard the bents are a tad softer but still sweet.
