California legalized recreational.

Things are looking good in Mass right now. Hoping the northeast gets at least 1 state.

Fuck yeah! I don't care about smoking but the drug war is fucking dumb. IT's time to get some freedom in this country!

For sure. I'm less worried about it now after the huge success of CO.

Especially now adding CA and MA I think it'll be alright. The fact that it is somewhat legal in more states, and legal in 6ish? it will keep spreading and laws will keep improving.

I was against some of the push for MMJ or at least some of the bills because some sucked, and I was scared it would keep legalization from happening. Now things are seeming pretty good.

If maine legalizes as well, that could be huge for the northeast in the coming years.

I have heard rumors that if California legalized recreational that it would revolutionize legal marijuana in America. Wether or not that is actually true I dont know. I wish it was, but the law is governed state by state. I am actually all for legal weed but I am also strongly for state law over federal law so if it takes a while it takes a while. I have already bought weed at a store so thats satisfaction enough for myself lol.

god damn I wish there was something up to bat in Ohio tonight other than the god awful medical bill that was passed here earlier this year. You know, under the Ohio medical mj law, YOU CAN'T EVEN SMOKE THE SHIT? It's a pretty unenforceable law, but they think everybody will either be vaping or eating it. How naive.

Until you realize that the GOP now controls the House and Senate, will have the ability to tip the SC Justice scales there way, and have been the party that is the most regressive around the legalization of weed.

Hopefully I am wrong to assume there will be legislation enacted that will curb the states abilities to legalize it.

The GOP has been softening their position on Marijuana over the past few years, but that doesn't mean stiff opposition shouldn't be expected.

GOP. By a landslide. It is likely an issue that passes through the House and Senate and potentially to the SC. With the GOP controlling all three (SC thanks to Trump), it will never get through.

Obviously there are Dem's who are pharma supporters, but Clinton was anything but as she was the one who wanted to institute pricing controls (look at the IBB post-10 PM last night)

I am excited that Ca 64 passed but nothing will change where I live. Fresno County is very conservative and already does not allow medical dispensaries or people to grow medical marijuana. I am sure a local ordinance will be passed soon to do the same for recreational use. On the upside I not longer have to worry traveling within the state with bud.

It's just Maggie, it's like 60% favored for full legalization by Nher's but oh well I guess weeds just as bad as the heroin epidemic that's been going on for years....

These didn't just magically appear on the ballot. A lot of people have been working in these states to get this there. Eventually more states will jump on board. There are efforts everywhere, some places just have more people or less resistance.

IK. Im just butthurt the Midwest is last in everything except for the lowest temps with the least amount of snow. A lot of the upper Midwest is too conservative to legalize it soon. Weed will be legalized everywhere within 10-20 years, its just a matter of time. Then again I know minimal amounts of political shit.

Well Obama was saying it's going to be problematic for the DEA to treat 1/3 of country differently than the other parts. But I don't think anyone ever asked Trump how he feels about pot.
