The Eternal Beauty Of Snowboarding :

"An existential journey into the true life of snowboarders -

A snowboard photographer for almost 10 years, I have been filming everything I take a picture of (and much more) since the past 3 years. I am now putting together a supercut style edit, showing the backstage of snowboard movie making, as well as rising existential questions such as : "what the fuck are we doing here?!". In the style of a philosophy exam, the movie will try to answer the question : "Is there anything truely beautiful?", that is, in what we do, and what we are, pro snowboarders."

It was good honestly. Laid back, fun, and a different side of the sport.

Also to thread, I know it's about snowboarding but it parallels skiing quite well as the two sports are so close. So if anyone is turned off simply because it says snowboarding instead of skiing, you should probably check it out.

Jerome Tanon is the man. Been one of my favorite photo G's for quite some time now. Dig the fact he still shoots exclusively in film formats.

Watched this last night. Was a really cool documentary, showed and interesting side to the sport. I thought it was really great how he showed the self-centered, pointless side to it, along with the freedom, beauty and amazing people/ experiences that come along with it.

I feel like that whole movie could be swapped with skiing and it really wouldn't be any different. Agree with you 100%
