Are Atomic/Salomon STH 13 Too Heavy?

Just got my 2015/16 AR7s (170cm) mounted with a pair of Atomic STH 13s, and they feel really heavy. I had a pair of 2014 afterbangs (160) with marker squires previously so it is quite a jump. Any of you guys own the STH 13, how do you feel about the weight?

binding weight is not usually much of an issue as the weight is centered around the boot and mid point of the ski and as such does not affect the overall swing weight. The sth is a super solid binding so dont worry you made a solid choice.

I have AR7's with STH2 13's and they are completely fine. No problems with swing weight or anything, it's a great setup. If you find them too heavy then it's time to get into the gym.
They're definitely going to feel heavier than the Afterbangs and Squires because the STH2's are far more solid than Squires and the AR7's are 10cm longer than the Afterbangs. However with a bit of time you'll get use to it.

Theres quite a jump between squires and STH2s in terms of weight, youll get used to it and be thankful for a binding that wont fall apart
