Do cool jackets for young kids exist?

So my kid is 5 and a half right now. He's into skiing. I need to buy him a jacket. Last year it was just like a regular Gap jacket, but now that he's shredding... I want to make sure he's got something dope.

I have no god damn idea which companies offer sweet kids outerwear. Volcom, Burton and many of the snowboard brands do... but I'm running totally dry with cool ski brands.

a) Any ideas?

b) Is the cool side of skiing forgetting we need to build a new generation?

Its actually the same with skis. Line does make kids skis, but no sick brands make anything for kids.

Yes, this is massively off-topic for Newschoolers... but fuck it.

Lucky kid. I was wearing shit outerwear that was two sizes too small until I got a job at 14 years old. Looking bad builds character!

i'm kinda curious why you dont think fischers a "cool " brand
they make great skis and really do jr skis well
so will the other 5 yo olds not accept your grom if he doesn't have the skis the other steezy skittletards who spin 2 win instead of actually skiing have?
if i had crotch fruit i'd teach and buy em to buy quality products from quality companies that work for them.
Not because the have a team or fanboi following or i need other parents/skier to think i'm cool

On that slightly depressing note above, here's the skis I had as a kid but like 12 model years newer.

Both come in small sizes. Grom starts at 107 and is 80 underfoot and the YLE starts at 137 and is 100 underfoot. Get your kid some pivot 12s and he'll be set haha.

As for outerwear, I'd just go with Burton. Yes, they're a snowboard brand and yes, they're a fucking massive company but they do make quality shit for little rippers. I remember having Burton stuff until I was about 11 and could actually afford to buy a real pair of pants and a jacket.

Also sorry for the dub post but I have a pair of Marker 7 DIN bindings that pretty much brand new from last year or the year before (Bought a pair of 133cm Bentchetlers to fuck around on in the spring at a ski swap). I'd give them to you if you pay shipping because I have no use for them.

Patagonia actually makes come cool kids stuff. Yeah, it's expensive, but Bishop I'd imagine you can swing some kind of pro deal? And you can always warranty that shit when your kid outgrows it
