I have different styles for different weather conditions/types of skiing.
Super light pipe gloves for sunny days.
Insulated pipe gloves for not freezing snowy days.
Warm mittens for powder days.

Normal ol' 5 finger swany gloves. They were somewhat expensive but they work pretty great.

Hestra c-zone leather mits... probably by favorite piece of gear. I don't think the sell them anymore, just czone gloves.

Leather choppers and wool liners. They're cheap and the tow ropes don't eat em as fast as normal gloves.

:O :O I HAVE LIKE 5 PAIRS OF THESE, THEY RULE. So fucking clutch for spring skiing.

also I have a few pairs of these for just whenever and they're dope and toasty




other than that, I just rock hestras and enjoy my sweaty smelly hands all the time.

Full leather gloves in this style are the best. Period. Kinko's, flylow, BD, whatever. Use a whole bunch of snoseal baked I'm and you have 100% waterproof gloves hood for the PNW, and warm enough for the Tetons.

Plus they're like $20, are tough and last forever, and you look like you know what you're doing haha.

yeah dude i love them

and yes, to be honest, when i was younger and first got a pair it was totally cause i saw similar looking gloves on some badass hard charger dude in the lift line haha

If it's really cold (like -25 and lower) I wear mittens but otherwise I'm always rockin the classic 5-finger leather Auclairs leftover from when I used to race downhill.

I love black diamond. I have the bomber mitts. Super warm. The liner wears out a bit too quickly for my liking but still nice.

I absolutely love my Hestras. Kinda pricey but they're crazy durable and warm, and they look pretty damn good too.

Dennis advice tip:

Baby powder on hands or in gloves before skiing does wonders for sweaty hands, either that or blast your hands with an antiperspirant spray before putting your gloves on

ill have to try the antiperspirant because ive tried the baby powder and my hands just end up smelling like ballsack and baby powder.

I hate trying to hold poles when I have big bulky gloves on. It's probably my #1 pet peeve in skiing. That said, I'm in pipe gloves 24/7 even on sub 0 degree days.
