Type I skier for life bitches.

Type 1 Skier

A type 1 skier prefers skiing cautiously and at slower speeds. This skier is most comfortable on smooth slopes of gentle to moderate pitch. As a type 1 skier you prefer lower than average release/retention settings so in the case of a fall your bindings are more likely to release. A type 1 skier is an entry level skier uncertain about their classification.

Have yet to ever ski powder or go out west, stuck in the midwest on 270ft vertical hill. I love the park and the people on my hill though so I can't complain at all.

being a park rat without the park (or obnoxiousness) is my favorite things ever. Jumping around off anything, buttering and boosting off bumps, cruising the groomers at high speeds.. Its the forced creativity that makes it for me. all mountain jibbery

This. Wherever there's snow (or dirt, stairs etc for that matter) you're bound to have a good time. Shit even racing and training gates is hella fun

OP means just as a normal day out, but if a normal day out for you is balls deep sweetness then good for you. But ya, I often find myself chasing for the deepest days possible.

Going really fast and jibbing side hits and cutting through trees, top to bottom, all mountain runs cutting through the park but not necessarily park laps. Throwing small spins and grabs off moguls and side hits and just flying over little rollers and onto trails.

So I live in Minnesota and ski on a very small hill. The only fun thing to do is to hit the park. Every now and then its fun to hit a run up at spirit. But other than that i stick to park. If i lived out west or on a real mountain I would for sure hit backcountry and pow runs way more. When I go out west I do that almost as much as I hit the park.

I'd take waist deep pow over park any day. That said, it's not like that in the east 99% of the time.

Do you mean which skiing do I prefer to watch or do?

Deep ass pow is always super fun but I'm a Southern East Coast rider so I really only experience that maybe like once a season if we get a good storm.

For watching I honestly like park more. Most pow content has been so repetitive for the past few years and I'm sick of go-pro footage/heli shots.
