roommate went last sunday said he had fun hiking the rails if you want to ski laps im not sure i havent been yet i think they only have one run open still not 100% sure though

Unless you have an epic pass, its not worth the 65 dollar day lift ticket. Conditions are brutal, and it gets real crowded. Opening weekend/the first few weeks are just about getting out there, a few turns, and several beers.

anyone go to A basin sunday ? how was the snow been stoked to go but not 100% recovered from ACL surgery thinking of jamming a few laps this saturday need to get out of my house an into the mountains... hopefully it wont be packed with keystone opening

It's pretty chopped up out there now, was there Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Run was pretty busy being it's the only one open now but was nice to get a few runs in, not sure if I would go if I was paying for a ticket but the Epic pass made it worth it. I stayed in Keystone Saturday night and there was no snow on the runs there, if this weather doesn't cool off I'd be surprised if they can open this weekend. Will be out there Saturday-Sunday again regardless, hoping for cold weather this week!

99% sure keystone will only open with a tiny strip to mid station or montezuma and no park.
