The weirdo Tim Kaine or the Donald Drumpf? In the next 4-8 years Hillary may lose her health in some way - senile, pneumonia, Parkinson's, death, or a variety of potential old people related reasons - making fucking Tim Kaine president. So what's stronger, hillary's health or Trump's campaign? And while we're at it will the Don's brand lose money over his inflammatory comments or gain lots of money off POTUS publicity?

Thank you for your political discourse. And if you still support Trump there's about 85% chance you never wanted to go to college.

So this one time I was looking around my kitchen while I was super baked, and my dog came over and sat on my foot as I was looking inside the fridge. I get this is a joke but for all seriousness it shocks me how close this race is. Like is hillary really that unlikable? I get shes shady and untrustworthy and everything but she is so much better in every possible way than the other option. I haven't posted in a political thread in over a year, not gonna say anything political, but I just wanted to say this is one of the more ignorant things i've read in a while. And I'm not even a trump fan

Outside of being strongly pro life and/or anti gay marriage, I just don't understand why in gods name anybody thinks trump would make a better POTUS than Hillary in any fucking capacity.

It boggles my mind, till I realize how dumb the average American is. Then makes me ponder if it has always been this way, or I have reached an age/maturity level/life experience etc. so that I am just now noticing.

If Hillary died during her first week of office, President Tim Kaine is still roughly 1 million percent better than Trump. In fact, everyone bitching about how corrupt Hillary is should actually take this into consideration. He has far less shady baggage associated with him and if he were the presidential candidate instead of Hillary, it would be a landslide victory in his favor.

My Calc teacher had some reasons why people would vote for Trump. Now keep in mind i would in no way vote for Trump nor will my Calc teacher. What his basic logic behind it was that look in a middle school history book, heck even some high school history books. the text books make it seem like in 1968 that all of the minorities were raised to the same level as every white male in America (which is obviously not true at all), and some people actually believe it. they are also being told if you play by the American rules then you and your children have a shot at the american dream. Then they get their kids into college and when they get out of college they cant find jobs. In addition, they feel like the minorities are being raised above them with all of the black lives matter and LGBT protests. This makes them think that they are still playing by the rules, yet their children cant get jobs, they believe that they are being knocked down a peg by minorities, and combine some of their education and society; with all of this people are going to be wrongly frustrated about their situations. thus leading them to wanting change through Trump who is not going to do anything for our country.

sorry for all of the grammar fuck ups English is not my strongest class. this is also off the top of my head so i might have forgotten some points.

Kaine isn't good. But pence is Waaaay too far right for sanity. He is close to Santorum levels of nuts. I mainly just felt bad for pence having to defend a candidate he so obviously thinks is wrong, terrible, and indefensible.

Kaine was just a little over the top, but I like him policy wise.

Against peoples religious and moral views... similar to abortion. You don't have to agree with it to understand people reasoning behind it.

You can't argue against a person's religious views because logic doesn't apply. But, those are two big issues in which Trump has opposite policy views from Hillary, and which his policy is atleast logical... even if the reasoning behind it is not.

lol I don't pretend to know how old the earth is. But I sure as heck don't go by dating methods that assume there has always been the same amount of potassium-40 in the atmosphere.

Mmm no. Carbon dating isn't built on top of an absurd assumption. Carbon dating connects dots that are fairly close together. Potassium-40 dating and dating methods of the sort make a huge jump.

Not all half life dating methods are equal. They all make assumptions but carbon dating makes the most believable assumption. It assumes things stayed fairly constant for 50,000. That's more believable than assuming things stayed fairly constant for 50 million years.

Environmental factors aren't the issue. The assumption made is that the amount of an element in the environment was the same 50 million years ago as it is today.

I agree Hillary is not the bad. She is a seasoned politician which is exactly why she has gotten this far. I would never be able to vote for her on the basis that she should be in PRISON. This isn't a drug charge or misdemeanor... The amount of cover ups for the ILLEGAL things she has done are so numerous I don't dare to list them. Her husband was impeached, which is one out of the two presidents in the entire history of the USA.

As a Washington State voter I know that my vote is only a suggestion for the electoral college and the vote does not directly relate to who becomes president. So I am not voting. Hate me for it I don't care. But if I did vote it would be because of logic. Not "ohh she looks confident" "she is a women" "he is a racist" Like WTF is this shit.

Do you like war? Do you know which candidate advocates for never ending war? How about poverty and the economy? Hillary thinks that the middle class should be taxed more... She must have missed the common saying that "the middle class is the backbone of our economy" I could go on for days but who cares because trump is a racist and thats all we want to talk about.
