Does NS like it or dislike it? Any positive or negatives to skiing stoned? Crazy stories?

You know I like weed and I like skiing, but it never really crossed my mind to combine the 2 until my friend brought it up. Tried it once on the last day of the 2016 season. My friends and I just started joking around with each other yelling annoying shit like "Oh fuck dude I'm turning into Bdog/Tanner Hall". Then we'd do stupid little butters and shit like that. Ended up actually learning a few new tricks that way. Then we smoked way too much and ended up just tailgating for the rest of the day. It was pretty fun though. Definitely smoke on opening day.

Lots of people say no breaks on a pow day but i thoroughly enjoy rockin a piss real quick in the woods and pullin out a pinner or two while watching it nuke around you. Kinda surreal almost in a sense, but then again im probably stoned.

I don't really have a selection of strains in MT so I'm usually smoking indicas and end up way too tired to ski most of the shit on the Ridge at Bridger. But if I'm just fuckin around on a spring day I'll get high as fuck. I'm not much of a drinker, but getting buzzed/drunk on the hill is more enjoyable imo.

Same, I usually get indica dominant strains but I'm fine with skiing on it. I usually never get to stoned and I guess I exercise the high off in an hour. I competed once stoned as shit since we smoked an acrylic bong in the woods, did well and I was roasted.

Skiing high is just like doing anything when you're high. It's fun but you're probably sightly worse at it. Wicked awesome cruising high tho and feeling that breeeezzee$$$$

My first few experiences skiing high were awful, I was tired and didn't want to ski or I just didn't feel good. After a couple times, it is on of the best feelings in the world, although I would not recommend hiking a rail while stoned.

love ripping huge fast turns on groomers while high af, you can really feel your edges and gravity and whatnot. I usually can't ski much else though

Once I was way too high and contemplating life on the lift, forgot to take my poles out from under my leg when I got off. I got yanked around the bull wheel and then tomahawked. The lifty stopped the lift and was laughing so hard he cried, it was pretty embarrassing

My meds + copious amounts of water before/during makes me piss almost every 10 runs nearly. Reefer + ADD meds + pockets full of almonds = my fuel for the day. You get herion addict thin.

Put it this way tho, would you rather have a homie post up for a minute to piss on a tree or waste all that time/effort/snow being slayed to go drag your boots through pee puddles in the lodge?

All positive and nothing negative. Except that drugs are bad mmmmm'kay. Smoking the herb on the hill is only a fleeting high. With all the activity it gets burned off in two runs or so. On the other hand edibles lasts much longer and have a deeper body high.

Story time: I was with three other friends riding a doubles chair. My two friends were on the chair in front and two older dudes in their 50's or so whee behind me. The lift stops for like 5-10 minutes so me and my buddy start yelling/talking to our friends in front of us. We conclude that we should take a safety meeting after we get off the lift. The two older guys behind us clue into whats going on. They chime in with "i'll trade my ski pole if I can join" and the like. The culture runs deep.

That first time I skied high. Rode from Timberline to gvcp on the pine. And my fuck was I high. I could barly do it. But it then became such a part of my routine. All the time any chance I could I'd smoke. I skied pretty fucking good high. When I stopped smoking (the first time) I almost had to relearn how to ski sober.


Now mushrooms. Once. Was hiking jumps up on Palmer. Yeah. It was a bit fucky. Drank way too much water and power vommed right at the bottom of the mile chairlift infront of tourists.

Or the time I was super drunk at break and had to piss bad. So I hopped switch started to pee and it hit the wind and ended up all overy pants and people yelled at me.


Spark notes. Do it. Take your time. Don't smoke on the chair if there are kids behind you

Gotta love a good ole safety meeting in the trees, shoulda invited them.
Spring skiing at Mt Snow, friends and I go into woods near one of the parks and since it was hot as fuck we couldnt ski in so we hiked into the glade infront of all the jerrys. Some old dude skis by and goes "gee I dont want to know what you guys are doing in there" like a dick though, we sarcastically asked him if he wanted a hit as he skied away.
