The Pipe and slopestyle course layout at X was disappointing

the pipe that will serve as the venue tonite looks alot shorter than the one from last year. Also is it me or was that slopestyle course just plain shitty, a down rail and a kink rail a hip and a bunch of medium sized booters does not characterize a world class course which is what we should expect that Aspen, and Abc/disney and the X games should demand.

i think the pipe is 550 ft long... ive never heard of one longer...

Many of them were going huge which may have made the pipe seem shorter.

yeah, there was like no creativity in the slopestyle course. The most creative thing there was the city stairs and they ripped that off from PC two years ago. Oh well. I am not going to have an heart attack over it.

Yeah, the slopestyle course was cool but not amazing.

the tables on the slopestyle course were a little shirt but the rails were ok, the point of a slopestyle course isnt to see who can clean the rails its to see who can throw the sickest trick on them, they could have used more rails though

the pipe is 525 ft long

^ the slopestyle course had plenty of rails, but no one really chose the line that had the rails. i though the cross over of a jump line and a rail line with the gap over the rail was pretty cool and creative

atlanta ski, they had a cbox but no one hit it in the finals. but i do think the jumps should have been bigger. their 'money booter' was 55 ft

the course was gay cuz they had it set up so u could take a rail run or a jump run. it was really hard if not impossible to mix some rails in with the jumps. hence why everyone took the exact same line. and where was the big feature that they have every year, like the stairilizer from last year.

just face it, comps like superpark, park-a-sauras, orage masters etc. with an open format are waaaaaay sicker and better for progression than x games us open whatever. its a good way to get media coverage for our sport though and also a good way to get people impressed at skiing who are not involved in it.

nobody hit the rail on the dealer's choice spot in the finals, there were only two rails that everybody hit and the 'last chance booter' was only 55ft and it was shorter than some of the previous jumps but overall the course had a pretty nice flow to it

first slopestyle couse with a hip that i know of, thats pretty creative.


Its only for decoration thats it and thats all

i thought the rails were fine....the point isnt to have some crazy hard thing to clean...its to get tech..and i mean seriously...after the open last week...damn i hated those things
