I was wondering which ski I should get. I like the arv 86's a lot but at the same time i am worried about their durability compared to the ar7s, and am wondering if the ar7s would be better. Which would last longer?

Ive been waiting for this thread... So last year in february I finally broke my AR7's after having them for what has been a record for me, 2 seasons. I absolutely loved the ski and the durability compared to anything I had before blew my mind. Lucky for me the armada rep hooked me up with the his ARV 86 demos (I work in a shop). After a few days urban (don't tell him) and about 10-15 days park riding I haven't noticed any damage, no edge cracks, top sheet ships or anything. This is probably because they are essentially the same ski, using a similar shape and dimension and the same materials. The only real difference with the ARV 86 is its flex pattern and a little bit of rocker, which if you found the AR7's not play full enough or just happen to weigh a buck fifty like me and had trouble flexing them at slow speed you will absolutely love. All in all I'm a huge fan of the ARV 86 and just picked myself up a pair, you shouldn't notice any durability change but if you are still for some reason convinced they won't be as durable go get some AR8's at your local shop!
