Today at 1pm MST Epic and Epic Local pass holders received an email from Vail Resorts stating that their passes will allow them up to 5 days of (restricted) access to Whistler Blackcomb Resort for the quickly approaching 16/17 season. This came as a surprise to many because the resort was not scheduled to be included in the Epic pass until next season (17/18) according to the release issued from Vail Resorts after they acquired the resort for a whopping $1.5 Billion this past summer.
