just watched summersalt. obvi those kids are hella hella talented and put some really difficult stuff to feet, but i found myself fast forwarding through a lot of it.
watching a grip of cork 7's and 9's and dubs just doesn't do it for me anymore. i mean, again, it's buku impressive, but i get bored.
maybe it's because i find it hard to relate to. rarely do I spend much time hitting the big jump line in the park when there is actually snow on the ground.
i'd rather find some cool zones in-bounds or in the bc, or even hit some funky urban before I spend hours camped hitting a 70ft rocket ship of a booter.
this is obviously prolly why I find the bunch and their ilk so creative/inspiring.
what do y'all think? do you still get hyped watching big jump edits, or do you feel a similar sense of burnout watching a mili corks?
again, no hate intended AT ALL, I can't pull a fraction of the stuff kids at windells pull on a daily basis. those kids are fucking legit. really fucking legit. just tryna get a hold on where most NS'ers inclinations are these days.
