Swandog7If you haven't noticed they also upped the price by like $100 per ski which is rediculous. Blends are now $750 instead of $600
Emma_Watsonyeah man don't buy LINE... They're fun skis - however, from my experience, they are not durable. Additionally, they're very expensive and you're essentially paying extra for their advertising/marketing
i know for sure my next pair of skis are gonna be

Vk-47If Its made in china does not necessarily mean that they are bad quality. I have not ridden too many lines skis but I heard lots of good things about their sticks. Durability is definetly not the best on cheaper side of the skis but they are made for beginners Who doesnt destroy their skis so easily. And their pow skis are on point so why wouldnt People buy them? And of course they got lots of Tom Wallisch and traveling circus fanboys buying their skis
snowpeckYeah I was thinking about getting Jskis or HG skis since they are made in the same factory. If you do get them, tell me how they are.
speedyswapper34with the recent price rise Line's skis without an evident product improvement. It would be in my best interest if i were buying new skis to buy from a more independent company that is more focused on improving and creating products. With the price change they are marketing their skis against some higher end ski companies like Moment and ON3P which for me is an easy choice for which company deserves my 750$.

freshiesbrahThe 2017 model is $600 on Evo, Skis.com and Backcountry. I paid $370 for my 2016s and guess what... Blends sell out at the end of every season. Same with the Chronic.
They drop down quickly during the season unlike the small companies that people always compare them to. You shouldn't expect $700 quality out of a ski that can easily be had for 2/3 that price.
You guys are crazy about this stuff.

doitbigLine makes solid products. I've had many sets over the last 14 years ranging from skiboards to price point a-bangs to pollard pro models and haven't had any unexpected issues.
The line hate is from people who have never actually owned a pair and/or the average NSer's irrational thirst for all things "core".
The reason I stick with Line is because of the niche models. The blend is the perfect park/piste ski for me and nothing else on the market can really touch it. The mordecai is my go to powder/everyday ski.
Line_SkisHello. Josh, LINE Rebel Command here, a few things that need to be cleared up.
1. Manufacturing: I won't speak much to the blatantly ignorant troll comment beginning this thread and get into that debate, but what I can say is our skis are engineered, developed, tested, prototyped, tested more in collaboration with our athletes and consumers to meet the needs of what they want. We are proud of what we produce and work with a network of insanely smart & passionate people (in-house, out-of-house, etc). Development is done in North America and mass production is done at our state of the art factory in China (you read that right, it's insanely good, just kinda far away, like Bulgaria). We use the highest quality materials and our proprietary durability tests are insanely extensive. If you are speaking about a personal pair of skis you've broken I hope very much you've contacted us or your LINE dealer about solving the issue if there is one. We have your back and if there's an instance we didn't, I want to hear about it to make it right.
2. Prices have not changed however we are now only offering our skis at the MSRP pricing on lineskis.com. Our current year skis (not older skis, those can be discounted if you can find them) are sold at a few prices to skiers, MSRP & MAP. The MSRP is the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, this is the price of the ski we suggest selling, the price we, the manufacturer sells the skis for, that's why you see it on our site (like the sticker price on a car). We also have a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP), it's the price you usually see crossed out and the MAP is the price most ski shops sell at. We market our gear, educate you about it and can sell you skis from our site but skis are sold at ski shops and ski shops are the heart of the industry, they'll give you the best price & service so if you're considering buying any skis this year, go walk into the shop in your area and talk to them about it.
Sorry for the essay and +1 if you read it all. Hope that clears things up! If you have any question please e-mail me directly at josh@lineskis.com or go oldschool and CALL US! 1 888 LINE SKI
