New to the area, looking for people to ski with

Haven't logged in in maybe a year but I'm looking for fellow skiers to shred with this winter.

I grew up skiing southern PA resorts from either home (Baltimore) or school (Delaware). I just graduated and moved to Boston for work and am absolutely pumped to ski this season at some new england resorts but unfortunately left all my ski buds at home. two of my roommates snowboard but I obviously am looking for some park skiers to ski with throughout the season. doesn't really matter what ability level I'm just looking for a crew for some days while I'm up.

pm me if you're interested, want to share some wisdom about the mountains in the area, whatever. I've done literally zero research for a pass honestly but will probably get whatever's closest to me. I'll probably not even log in and check my messages for a month or something but it would be awesome if some locals wanted to ski with a random person on the internet so just shoot me a message and i'll check it out closer to the season. thanks.

I'm always down, my last park buddy is moving out to colorado this winter so I'm in the same boat.

The New England Pass is a good deal if you can fenagle the college deal on it. It has Loon, Sunday River, and Sugarloaf.

I just checked out the New England pass. Ever think about buying the senior pass that's $30? What're the odds of you getting caught for using that

that drifter pass I saw in a freeskier email seemed like the greatest thing ever til I looked at the mountains on it...which are kind of all over the place. I did learn of Crotched Mountain for the first time from it though from it which appears to be the closest decent mountain to Boston.

can anybody weigh in on crotched mountain? who's skied it? I don't really mind a small mountain (even though it's twice the vertical from what I'm used to) I really just want a park I can go to. and if there's something farther south that's smaller but with a reputable park let me know. thanks.

If you ski parks mount snow makes it 100% worth it though

yea i mean i think it would be sick to hit Carinthia but like that's three hours from me. but yea I guess if I got it for a place nearby it would be a good one to have in my back pocket for a weekend trip every once in awhile.

Ya I'm also 3 hours away but it's so worth it.
I'm lucky though because my aunt and uncle recently gave me full access to their condo. They're up there every single weekend so they told me I can come up whenever and stay at their place for the night. Also besides just carinthia I use it as a "home base" for going to Okemo and Killington. I drive up to Snow and stay the night and then next morning I head to Okemo or Killington to shred with some of my homies there

I'm also in Somerville and should be heading out to Mt snow most weekends at least for a day. Haven't bought the pass yet but will be buying the drifter pass this year.

Nashoba is cool but expensive, Wachusett sucks or at least did when i was going there.

I've always gotten the New England Pass, but this year I got the MAX pass. You should check it out. Only like 700 bucks and has 5 days at a ton of different mountains. Could be perfect if you're new to the area and want to check out a bunch of different hills.
