it wasn't strictly edits that 'got me into skiing, but two stand out to me:
Shred' n Breakfast:

I can't remember which one it was but lord was I grateful for some mad computer algorithm landing it in a place for me to click on. I saw it and was like woah that looks darn fun. I must have been 12/13 when I accidentally stumbled on this. I have to admit it's probably the gateway series for all the ski media I have consumed. It just looked ultra fun and I really wanted to do that. So I got wrapped up in all of this before a trip to Italy and I was just about getting my bearings with skiing at this point. I pushed out at the park because the rats were INTIMIDATING as hell. I think I hit my first box here, but after the experience with the Italian park I was super afraid of going into a park. So I went more to the off piste and eventually out to the back country and then to getting gripped on steeper things and only now after the sentiments shared by some contemporary masters like the Bunch have I mellowed out to try and push the freestyle side of my skiing.
BUT YO SHRED N BREAKFAST, THANK YOU LASSE NYHAUGEN, KIM BOBERG, LARS HAAKON HAFSAL, your series is loved 7 years later
Kim Boberg has a very special place in my heart and will always be one of my favourite skiers ever... Shred' n Breakfast lead me to the goods in my life....
and then you get beauties like Andreas Olofsson's 'The Striving'

that just confirms that skiing is the person you want to be friends for life with
The cherry popping edit however was THE most scandalous thing on youtube, the thumbnail was like a morbidly obese naked woman (hence why I cannot locate it anymore, thanks youtube mods) but it was like 12 minutes of people hitting urban very hard. One day that thing will resurface on the inter webs. I vaguely remember this part where they hit this huge bridge. I think it was a mix of snowboarders and skiing. However it did make me think 'woah that's what I want to do'.
