Shifty vs shuffle

These confuse the shit out of me, what's the difference? Also isn't a peanut butter just a nollied 360?

shuffle you landed sideways and continue the rotation, so you land 180 continue it to 270. shifty you go towards the opposite direction of your spin direction and then continue the rotation. So you would do 90-0-90.
does that make sense?

shifty is when you twist your skis one direction or the other like 90* and then bring it back IN THE AIR

shuffle is when you land, possibly sideways, and then snap it back to forward or switch immediately

no idea what a peanut butter is, never heard of it. besides k fed i think giving tricks new names that can already be described with the normal nomenclature is stupid. so if a peanut butter is indeed a nollie 360......call it a nollie 360

I think difference between peanut butter and nollie is your noses stay on the ground for most of the spin in a PB, and pop off before you spin in a nollie, and in a normal butter the skis don't get as vertical?

Shifty usually involves turning your body and not your skis. For example a shifty straight air would involving turning your skis 90 degrees in the air and bringing them back, all while keeping your torso forward. It's a great way to add style to simple tricks.

A shuffle is a slide on the ground. Think about a revert to switch. It's like that only after you land a spin you continue spinning. Think doing a 270 in the air, landing sideways on the snow and sliding that last 90 around on the ground.

I'm from the midwest and have heard of and referred to a nollie 3 as a peanut butter.

If you're gonna do a shuffle, make that shit snappy so it looks intentional. Slow shuffles are the weakest

I wonder what it was like when og park skiers like Eraps Thall JP and CR Would go out, ski, and do tricks that had no name and create every day. Not that you cant do that today, but alot has been done.
