Hey guys I haven't been on here in a while so Im just trying to catch up on the new gear that's out there. Ive been using the same 2011 Rossi S4 174cm, for the last 4 years and they've taken a pretty hefty beating so Im due for a new set.
East Coast skiing at 7 Springs and Snowshoe
Intermediate/Advanced all mountain skills,
Beginner/Intermediate in park, I do mostly rails, some smaller jumps.
40% Park 60% All mountain
Im an aggressive all mountain skier that likes to charge
5'10, 190lbs
Im used to riding traditional camber but am also interested in the new rocker systems, early rise tip/tail with camber underneath.
Ive been looking at the Line Chronics and Future spins. I want to jump up a size from 174 to 178 or 181 in those skis. I feel as though the 185 Chronics would just be too much. Kartels are just too expensive I think.
Like I said Ive been skiing S4s for the last 4 years and I do mostly all mountain skiing and pure park skis have been fine for me. I want to get ones with rocker/camber/rocker only.
Budget is around $500, no more, including bindings (probably FKS or Pivot 14s). Debating on using my Griffons from my S4s though too. Anyone else out there with similar stats and any advice?
Let me know your recommendations, what you like and hate about different skis. Thanks in advance everyone
