Types of pvc for backyard setups

After watching Kevins latest summer edit (see below) I got inspired to spice up my backyard park. I've already got a bunch of larger pvc pipes that all work great, but I'd like build an upward curving c rail (banana rail? can't remember the name) for mistys underflips ect. However even my thinnest pipe is way to heavy of a grade to bend more than a couple degrees. Does anybody have any recomendations for types or grades of pvc that are still strong, but flexible enough for that much curvature?

I honestly have no idea. But...if you had enough heat couldn't you bend a regular 6 inch wide pvc? No clue if it would work

my suggestion is just slapping a few like 1 1/2 inch pipes on a 2x4, way easier to bend. Not sure how wide you want it though

I used a heat gun on 2 inch pvc and it took fucking forever just for a rainbow, also hard to make it look even...

idk what the different grades are but i have 6 inch diameter pvc in my backyard and it seems like you could bend it if you took a heat gun to it with some patients

I have a few 1 or 2 inch pipes that you could bend 90 degrees any direction no heat. Id just go to home depot or lowes and pick stuff up and feel its flexibility.

use a bunch of 1-2 inch pvc, and towards the end of the rail, stack blocks like stairs to curve up.

I built up a fire, heated up the PVC and bent it. But there is PVC that bends a little without heat.

How do you screw it down? If you build up the blocks from underneath you can't put screws in underneath the board up into the pipe

I recommend building like a triangle almost out of a block, and then it would screw down well (you screw it onto the hypotenuse side). Make it as steep as you want

How I did it was I screwed the pvc onto a 2x4 from underneath the 2x4 until the screws went through about half of the PVC. I measured before to make sure i had the correct screw length. Then I screwed the 2x4 with the PVC on it to another one, thus creating a PVC rail.

just use smaller pvc. i made a rainbow out of 1 inch pvc. it bends really well.
