death_gripsYo has anyone ever had issues while ordering from surface? Ordered a pair of analogs from their eu store in mid-September and no sign of a confirmation or anything. Plus money has been taken. All a bit shit :/ plus they're not responding to any emails or anything
HawkedAggieSamething is happening to my son, purchased Analog Blanks online back on Oct 20th, no sign of the skis and no one replies to emails and phone call go to voice mailbox that are full. Anyone know anything?
HawkedAggieYeah, online web stores are no longer carrying their product and their own retail store in Utah does not answer the phone either! Not good!
HawkedAggieThe more I dig into this the sketchier it looks. Would not recommend buying Surface skis.
skiitsbetterI ordered a pair once and they came with a big kink instead of a smooth transition to rocker.[/QUOTE
that's because you put them on your ski rack and drove into the garage.... then did it again switch

LonelyI dealt with surface back in early October. I sent an email asking if they still had last years model of the outsiders. I got a response back in two days saying they still had a few pairs left.
Then I asked about when their 2016/2017 models were going to be up...and I received no response to that question.
There website has not been updated, and the online store with surface, causwell and joystick is sketchy. There social media is whack. Seems like they ditched it. Not a popular brand to begin with so I would not be surprised if they went under.
jjdsteezeSurface Posts stuff on instagram all the time still.
LonelyYes...and it looks like someones personal account not a companies imo. I get that it's trying to be hipster but more often than not it just looks unprofessional. At least when compared to others.
.lenconSurface is legit, but they are very hard to deal with. They never reply to emails.
For anyone reading this and wanting to buy surface, buy from a retailer and not directly from Surface. I bought a pair of Evo a few years ago and they showed up 2-3 days later.
K-Dot.Peculiar that this year's line up is still not up for sale. It seems like they have a decent enough following, I'd be surprised if they went under
.lenconThey are however still active on the social medias, which is usually a good sign. And for anyone wanting a response I feel like thats the best way to get one.
chicknfriedsteakIf their customer service is that bad, why buy from them? There are tons of other companies making great skis that will ship much faster and respond to your emails.
skidemon22This is not always apparent before a first purchase. Your comment is the equivalent of saying "Why would drive down the road if a car crash was a possibility? You should have taken the bus...".
No one plans to be dicked around by customer service, and if surface had shipped the product, there would have been zero (attempted) interaction with CS...
Hindsight is 20/20, its easy to make play calls from the couch, don't put your dick in crazy, etc.

chicknfriedsteakI should have quoted the posts I was replying too, but I was referring to the people standing up for Surface.
K-Dot.Because I've dealt with their customer service before and they listened to me and sent me a brand new pair of skis within in a week when I warrantied a pair. Their customer service has a pretty good track record of hooking it up and making it right, it just seems like as of late they've fallen asleep behind the wheel.

leprechaunsissyCome on brah, relax. They are probably skiing and will get to it when the snow is bad. You like the boss who wont give his employees the day off for a pow day.
A-cAllOrdering skis to ski this winter- don't worry the skis will be there when the snow sucks in spring you're good with that right? Come on dude after the shitshow K2, revision, and now surface have produced in 1 season, I'm ready to see the amount of ski brands shrink to the ones that have quality skis and customer service
leprechaunsissyIf you want to cut out all of the core brands and have only brands whose employees work instead of ski, on a pow day, then so be it.
A-cAllThis is bullshit, there is no reason for a company who sells a relatively expensive product to not be able to at the minimum answer emails. You telling me these "core" guys skis 18 hours a day and don't have internet access? If you treat your customers like shit you don't deserve to be in operation, especially when your customers are part of a relatively small community, i.e. The freeskiing community

JibberinoYou never cease to amaze me with your retarded posts. Sometimes I think you're a troll.
