That the difference between the 4, 6 and 8?

The Flex

8 is the stiffest

4 is the softest.

The 4 also uses a traditional tongue liner, as opposed to the wrap liners in the 6 and 8.

The flex is different between the 4,6, and 8. The 6 and 8 also have a nicer wrap liner and shock absorber boot board. I don't recommend them unless you want to get your tongues replaced every few weeks. They break off of the rivet easily.
