Slvsh just released their new app called SLAPP. Only for apple right now, but according to comments they are working on android and it'll be done soon.

Its really sick, sorta a combination of instagram and the NS video section. More instagram like tho. You can have followers, post clips of your skiing, and like other people's clips. The thing is tho, you only post one trick in a clip. which is fine since there is only one trick in the world. I do wish there were a way to comment on things, but i bet they are not doing that to avoid shit talking.

stoked signed up quick and grabbed the user name "dan" def gonna be uploading some clips once the snow happens.

I really like the idea of the app. Excited to see how it progress in the long run. Hopefully it doesn't turn into another one of those apps that starts out real hot and the fizzles out.

Thanks for the love, everyone. Stoked it's finally out. You can't send tricks, or play games of SLVSH with each other yet... But, we are already working on new features, a tagging system, as well as SLAPP for Android

In the short term, Slapp is how new skiers will get into SLVSH games. People with complete trick bags will be invited to games, cups, etc.

We are working on separating the crashes from the normal feed. But for now, please tag crashes with 'Hall of Meat'. Which is found under flavor.

Android will be available as soon as we can get it developed. It is underway so hopefully within the next month (fingers crossed)

For now the thumbnail is automated from the exact middle of the trick. We are working on giving you the option to choose, and hopefully have that option soon.

We don't see a reason to make a specific category for Urban at the moment. We are trying to keep it as simple as possible for our tagging system to work correctly. An urban rail is a rail so we see it better to keep it simple and put every type of rail into 'rails'

I love the idea. It looks like a great app. However my question is why name is SLAPP when you could have just called it the SLVSH app? Seems like a better idea for the SLVSH brand to not be spread thin with different names.

Update: literally every single time I try to upload a video it force quits on me and I can't use it. Any reason why that's happening? I've tried multiple wifi connections and also just standard data use with no luck :(
