she probably got a better offer from faction considering they raised 1.2M within the last year and are well capitalized compared to 99% of freeski brands right now

i.e. I doubt she was dropped

I doubt her retainer was more than 5k per year under her old K2 contract - hardly material compared to the likes of Sean, Pep or other bigger contracts.

Saw this and came straight here. Faction is getting so stacked. I think it's a great fit though.

K2 was proactive in removing Seth and Andy from their team website before the news became public. Yet now a week after Kelly leaves K2 she is still listed on their pro team?

K2 reps are great. The whole K2/ Jardon/ Newell thing has nothing to do with the reps. Most ski reps are independent contractors. K2 is not going anywhere, in fact if they can get away from this large cooperate umbrella it might be the best thing for them.

while that may be true its not about that. The owners of the brand want to make changes so they want to sell the brand as a whole
