rozboonI tried a couple of lightweight braces when my knee was being a dick and they weren't worth a shit for skiing. They were all good for preventing the tibia from going on vacation when I walked down stairs at work but did not provide any meaningful support for skiing.
One might well exist but I never found it. Either ski the big brace or build the hell out of your quads, that's what I did and a couple of times subsequently I've felt my knee start to go in a bad direction but just did the equivalent of a gigantic pistol squat and managed to save it.
