It saddens me to say that Western Canada had a great lose in the skiing/mountaineering community yesterday. Swept off on Mt Victoria by an avalanche... It sucks.

RIP, the guy was crushing massive lines for this time of the season. Tons of respect for what he was getting after. Sad to hear of his passing. He was really pushing it

As soon as I saw the first bit of news come out yesterday my heart sank as I knew the name would be familiar.

Over the last few years it was a privilege to watch Trevor progress from a resort ripper to the most prolific, hard working and talented ski mountaineer the mountain ranges around here have seen in a while. His accomplishments in such a short time frame are mind blowing. I don't think there was a single person in the ski mountaineering community across the Rockies, Purcells and Selkirks who didn't live vicariously through his epic exploits, and get inspired by his seemingly inexhaustible passion for getting out into the mountains and getting after it.

Rest in Peace Trevor - you will be missed by many, and your legacy will not be forgotten easily.
