The K2 debacle is a big fucking deal.

Basically like half the ski industry is hung in the balance of this whole deal. K2 is the largest action sports equipment manufacturer in the world. Shit's going to change if this goes down. Hopefully for the better (i.e. people buying from small ski companies more)...

3) I have yet to combine them, but I will. And you can bet your ass when I do I'll ski circles around you.
4) I am the best "skier" on the mountain. Any mountain.


Telemark isn't really skiing... I am sure you are great at it ... whatever it is .. but,

Its like a Stand Up Paddle boarder referring to themselves as a surfer.

Let's say, hypothetically, I am objectively better than you at sliding down snowy hills with skis on my feet. What would you call it?
If I'm not really a skier, it must be extra painful when I'm better at it. You might wanna #stopskiing

If you were a world class unicyclist, it would not make you a better than Mountain biker than me.... just saying.

Telemarking is like K2.. but as is in Canoes. And they are both on their last legs. And Heartcarving is like Newell in that respect.



It's not if, but when. People will eventually see through that jackass attitude.



I predict a small remnant will remain, but mainly for narcissist who just want to be different for the sake of being different and then want to be worshipped for it.

actually this may not be true:

"K2, Marker, Dalbello and Völkl, parent company Newell Brands said it will merge parts of the latter three brands to roll out a new shared identity and collaboration under the MDV Sports name. K2 will remain on its own."
