So I order some skis from Fltypus on their current sale, because $390 for some handmade skis is a deal! I was super excited, because this helped me fit my budget with skis, and I was able to get brand new skis instead of used ones
Two days later I receive a second payment confirmation from Fatypus for $105. I email and call them and am told that this is for shipping charges and tell me that he doesn't usually tell people from Alaska about the recharge because it is expected. But it was never obvious that there would be a recharge. I would never have ordered the skis in the first place if they were going to be $500. The guy offers me stickers to keep my buisness(lol), and I explain that I'm getting screwed and would like the money back for skipping or the ordered cancelled.
Agreeing to cancel the order, somehow I had to pay a $20 bank transfer fee or some bullshit. (Which I think the comapny or the guys messing up should have payed)
Long story short, I was stoked to get new skis, get charged for shipping multiple days later with out being warned how much or that I would even be charged($105). And then they take a $20 fee from me for cancelling the order... Which I didn't even want to do, Untill they charged me a extra 1/4 of the price.
So please understand, Fatypus does not have free shipping. And will screw you for thinking so, even if they don't tell you.
