j.w.vI currently own these skis myself. The flex isn't as soft as you see in most edits, mine have been broken in over a year now and they're still a medium-stiff flex. It's a ski that performs amazingly in the right conditions, otherwise they can get a little crazy. For example, they love a fresh layer of snow, and edge extremely well. However, in rutted out slushy snow the tails can get out of control very quickly.
What I like most about them is that they let you ski really any terrain you are brave enough to send with them. I ski mine in park, urban, deep powder, trees, you name it. They're an all in one ski that requires technique to really get the most out of them. Durability is pretty good, I went hard on my pair and I've still got some life left in them.
Give them a try OP, and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask
grilled_cheesedo you ride the 87 or the 98 waist
j.w.vThe 97. The 87 looks to be softer, and a bit easier to ski in the park and chopped up snow, but is likely less useful in deeper conditions
