I'm going to bring my Canon 70d on the mountain this season. Do I have to worry about getting it wet. Is it ok if it gets a little wet? I don't want this to be a loss of my money.
This thread happens every season...
But no you dont have to worry. Ive taken some nasty falls while filming (Getiing landed on, trying to do a quater pipe with my camera in hand idiotic 14 year old me)) but my camera has lasted with no damage at all. Ive even had snow inside some of the mic ports and shit and nothing ruined it
Also Ive used a rebel sl1 in the pouring rain this summer so a canon 70d should be fine because it is more weatherproof
Should be fine. I shoot on the mountain with my 60D every day and it's all good. Just keep it in a warm dry place each night so it has a chance to dry if any water does get in.
