What's the difference between the regular Mach 1 series and the R 110? I can't find anything obvious from the site other than that the R 110 is from the race series and the regular Mach 1's aren't. I'm between the 120 and R 110 (since there's no regular 110), both in the 98mm last and a 24.5. I've tried an X Max 120 and I think it could be a bit softer but I don't know, I'll have to think about it.
there is no real difference other then the mach 110 r does not come in the MV whereas the 120 does. It would be a good option if you prefer the 110 flex to the 120.
Yeah they're my brothers boots so he likes to leave them in. Now if only I could find a place to try on any boot in a 24.5 let alone one in particular.
How about atomic Redster pro's or I just noticed the Hawx is a 98mm lasted boot now? I'm just trying to get a hand on low volume boots that are performance orientated but not actually race boots. I like the XMax's but they don't really flex as far forward as my current Il moros. The XMax's feel less sloppy than my current boots, probably cause it's down a shell size though.
Oh and it seems like a lot of series of boots decrease in performance aspects of the boots as you go down in flex which is understandable. It just sucks because I'm small and light and don't really need a 130 or higher boot. It just makes it hard to fuck around during the day when the fake snow in NJ/PA is warm and slushy and you can't go fast with beat to shit park skis with extruded bases. Only at night when it's an ice skating rink can you achieve some speed and some nice turns.
