Faction Candide 1

So I just picked up the new faction Candide 1s and I'm super excited to try out. I just curious how well it holds up in the park. Do they fall apart or are they truly bomb proof like faction claims? They seem really light but I'm worried that will also show how well they are truly built.

My friend just got a pair a few months ago and hasn't had a chance to try them out yet.

Last year they beefed up the edges to 2.5 mm I believe, up from 1.9 mm in previous years (someone correct me if I'm wrong), which is a good sign. I don't have any personal experience but I've heard good things from people on the mountain.

My 2016's pair held up rather well compared to the ones from the seasons before. Got 60+ days on them and I didn't get any edge cracks. The only issue was the nose of one ski delaminating but this was then covered by warranty and I'll be sent a new pair in the next few weeks. They also ski really nice, not to stiff, nor to soft. Perfect flex for rails and also bigger jumps.

They are pretty bomb proof, as mentioned above they've got beefed up edges

Plus I believe faction has a rail warranty on their park whips so youre all good there anyway
