CadenmcculloughThe newer full tilt shell called decendant I think are supposed to be wider.
cdblu_freeskiI had drop kicks and I felt the same way, they just never fit right for me (no full tilts do), got technica cochise 120's now, much nicer. Also was able to get tech toe/heel piece which is another reason I got new boots
East_the_Skiill have to check them out and go to all my local shops and try a bunch of different boots on. i really liked the feel of the FT just not the fit..
tomPietrowskitrying on lots of boots will only confuse you. Best bet is to allow a fitter to selct the boots for you. The descendant offers a wide fit if you want to stay full tilt but fit should be the priority so if you find another brand works better for your foot shape go with that.
East_the_Skiim wont be trying on like 10 pairs of boots im sure i can keep track of what boots i like. but like i said i read some reviews that the descedant falls apart super easily...
tomPietrowskiTey have there issues like all full tilts do but I would not say they are worth out right dismissing. If you need a wide fit but really want to stick with a three piece they are a good option. I skied them quite a bit while reviewing them. But as I said just have a fitter select the best boot for you don't try to find them by yourself. The shell check is the best way to determine what will work. Just your trying boots on will tell you very little as the ones whic will probably work best will all feel too small out of the box.

East_the_Skii see what your saying what do you mean by shell check?
SessionSounds like you probably like the look more than the feel, because if they don't fit right then they shouldn't feel right. You probably just really wanted Full Tilt.
tomPietrowskiA shell check is how we asses weather a boot will work for you or not. The loner is removed and we compare the shape of the shell to your foot. There are around 5 things we look for and according to how the shell compares to your foot we can know weather a boot will work for you and what fitting will need to be done. Simply having a customer try a boot on tells us absolutely nothing as everyone will have a differnt view of how it feels. If the guy selling you boots is not doin a shell check then he is not a bootfitter
East_the_SkiAre you dumb dude? im talking about the flex and how they feel on ski, there not extremely small on me there just narrow... i thought breaking them in and molding them would help but it didnt...
SessionI'm not dumb, my boots fit.
