I nearly grew up in Elko, Nevada, home to legal prostitution and numerous sketchy gold mining operations. Right in the middle of rural Nevada, three hours from Tahoe and three hours from Salt Lake.
So I've been thinking... skiing would not likely have been a viable hobby. What would I be doing right now if I hadn't discovered skiing?
Would I be a model train enthusiast? Glue sniffer? Professional Pokemon Go-er?
It's crazy to think all the variables worked out in the way they did and I was able to find something this cool to dedicate my time to.
