Why are long skis so difficult to find?

I can't for the life of me find any nice used skis for sale in 186cm+. Its like all of the big, tall skiers hold onto them until they fall apart. Meanwhile, B/S/T is flooded with 171CM-178CM park skis.

Is there some sort of weird science to this that I don't understand?

170ish cm is an extremely common length, so because there are more total out there more will end up being sold used. 186+ is pretty rare especially for park skis, so less around means there are less people out there to sell them used.

Both that not as many people buy them, and the ones that are selling are ones people probably grew out of. There arent many people growing out of 186cm skis man
