Replying to Sanding down ON3P's?

I have some beat to shit Jeffery 114's with graphic defects and like 4 mounts in them that I bought from one of the team riders.

They are pretty unskiable and impossible to sell so I was thinking about sanding them down and making a shot ski or mounting them on the wall.

I'm curious if anybody else was crazy enough to sand down ON3P's, and whether or not they have a nice wood grain look to them or not. Thanks!
