Sanding down ON3P's?

I have some beat to shit Jeffery 114's with graphic defects and like 4 mounts in them that I bought from one of the team riders.

They are pretty unskiable and impossible to sell so I was thinking about sanding them down and making a shot ski or mounting them on the wall.

I'm curious if anybody else was crazy enough to sand down ON3P's, and whether or not they have a nice wood grain look to them or not. Thanks!

O shit this just gave me a crazy idea. Im gunna sand down my old rental skis and make them supper flexie!

Also I think they are bamboo, so not too awesome of a grain, but it could look cool

If you sand the topsheet down you will see resin, fiberglass, VDS and carbon. At some point you will get to bamboo. this will be right around where everything falls apart.

That will take awhile and be a pretty nasty process (plastic, fiberglass, and epoxy dust). If you do it, send us photos.
