So almost a year ago i sanded down my old afterbangs in shop class and have just now decided to paint them. I know that you are supposed to use polyurethane to coat them but im just wanting to know if anyone has some techniques or knows a good amount of layers to put on, thanks!

I remember a lot of people saying that they used spray polyurethane because it has thin, even coats. Sorry I have never done this so I don't know how many coats, but a tip is to definitely cover the bases with painters tape or something because if the polyurethane dries on the bottoms it become really hard and will be tough to get off.

Maybe like epoxy with some thin fiberglass? This would make them last longer for sure.
