Brand new in the plastic with integrated bindings, the Motive 80 is a carving-focused ski that is designed to also hold its own outside of the groomers, squeezing it into the all mountain category. Its 122 mm tip and 80 mm waist are relatively similar to a race ski, but intended to be just wide enough to plow through powder and other varied terrain. The ski's Air Tec core is also said to be 25% lighter than before, Fischer's attempt to make this ski more versatile and playful than a stiff, heavy carving ski.
