Replying to Finally needing a replacement for my 2010 Anthems
Hey Folks!!
Had a few years break off skiing but am back in full force. My 2010 Line Anthems are pretty trashed and much to my dismay I discovered that no stores happen to have a set gathering dust somewhere that I could purchase. I'm in Australia but would definitely purchase a pair from overseas if there was a new pair somewhere that anyone knows of, otherwise;
I was wondering what a good equivalent ski now-a-days is. I had a look at the new Line line up and noticed none of their skis are 100% symmetrical like the Anthem was (or even have butter zones?!?).
I'm after a ski that behaves as similar as possible (if there is one). Would love the true symmetric twin tips and something around 90-98mm waist. Butter zones are definitely desirable as they will be subject to mass amounts of steeze. I appreciated the lightness of the Anthems so that would be handy to have as well but I could learn to live with a heavier ski if need be.
Even if it's an outdated/earlier model of a particular type of ski I'm fine with that, as long as I have the ability to purchase one new. Budget is of no issue so any price is fine.
Appreciate any and all help and advice!
Stay Fresh
Aaron
