Hiking boots designed by skiers

I picked up pair of Obzo hiking shoes. Got home and looked up company to find out their boot designer use to work for black dimond. The toes even have early rise lol. Obzo also plants a tree for every pair sold. Are there any other shoe or boot companies that came from skiers.
