It's definitely big, but it doesn't look like the biggest one ever built. You gotta remember the 57 m booter that Mads Jonsson 360'ed in like 2006. I reckon that one there is in the 25-30 m range? Kinda hard to tell from so far away.

Its a big jump but not much bigger than your average big air jump. There have been lots of bigger jumps built.

I've wondered about that. A number of riders have abandoned Thredbo to the extent that they seem to carefully keep it off social media, etc, but Russ has done this comp before and Perisher has nothing like it.

Also if you were any of their other sponsors you wouldn't be too happy about the reduced overall exposure. Injury perhaps?
