Jiberish fell off

Society is going through a weird phase lately. There has been an increasing amount of strange shit from plenty of companies.

They are putting out an awful lot of plain low key and minimal stuff as of late . Kinda boring. Seems to be repeats of the same hoodies within the last few drops that have minimal difference. They definitely need to step up the design and offer some more content and variety. I have a feeling they aren't doing so well financially these days as they closed both Boston and park city boutiques and moved out of lohi. Pete used to weigh in heavy on these threads but he's been crickets for a minute.

It's obviously hard to please each customers personal taste. Winter should have something for everyone.

winter drop is always the best drop

I think it got a lil too expensive and that made skier kids feel excluded. Which sucks because we were the backbone of Jiberish coming up. After that really expensive year they cut back a lil on prices but almost seemed like they never fully recovered.

Prices pretty much have stayed the same. The OG shit from like 05/06 or w.e it was, was like 100+ clothes in general have gone up.

Off Topic but, Do any of you know, when jiberish are planning to drop their winter Apparel? Any rough ideas.

If you follow the streetwear scene you'd see that Jiberish is riding trends instead of creating their own. Its the safer but much more boring company but I can understand why they're doing it.

For skiers they fell off. For the fashion industry they took off. Their boutique in Denver has super expensive hipster garbage and tennis shoes. Just like every other fashion company in Denver.

I miss the material found on their old hoodies... The material for the hoodie itself is nice but I dont like the feel that it gives on the wrists- it stretches out and gets nasty. My old brothers of the blade is super comfortable and I love the material.

Been a minute since I have had some time to hop on to NS. Sorry for being so out of touch lately. Getting the new boutique open and getting stuff dialed for winter has chewed up a lot of my NS time unfortunately. Plus we opened up a sneaker boutique in partnership with Fice Gallery in Salt Lake next door to the new Jiberish store in Denver last weekend so we are kinda buried over here at the moment. Good news to the guys who hated our sneaker selection at Jiberish, because we are moving out the footwear of our store and into Fice Denver so it'll just be our apparel in there now.

I think when we showcase the Winter products you'll see more the Jiberish stuff you are used to. Spring and Summer are always more subdued for us because we have always made what we like to wear that time of year and it ends up being more fabric driven stuff. Plus, our sweet spot is heavier weight stuff and that is more of our Winter collection.

All of it will be coming out over the 2 months and there is a wide variety of styles, a number of which are definitely riding friendly and designed with snowsports in mind. We will always make sure we keep that in focus as a brand. Even as we expand we fully understand our roots and our responsibility as a brand to properly convey our passion for snow. We rode at Loveland every Wednesday as a company this past winter and that is because it is who we are.

You can always come through the new shop to chop it up and talk about this stuff too as we are always around. I'd wait until we release all of the Winter stuff before deciding if we fell off though:).
