Park bindings

Its up to you. You get what you pay for. Ive owned some cheaper marker bindings in the past and usually would have them be destroyed by the end of the season from fucking up landing switch and blowing the brakes out along with some of the plastic pieces.

I do like the Pivots/FKS because they are all metal which makes them heavier but more durable. They also allow me to have a peace of mind knowing that the heel can pivot out so I possibly have less of a chance blowing out my knee.

I would highly recommend the Pivots/FKS over Marker or any other bindings for park/all mountain.

I used to own marker squires and the same thing happened to me. I would land switch and slightly off balance and the brakes would snap off. Having to replace them was always a hassle and I did note that my friends (who all had better bindings then me) almost never had this problem occur. I eventually got a better set of bindings and never had the problem occur again, therefore I recommend that you try to acquire a decent set of bindings, but not necessarily heavy duty full metal bindings, especially if you're an amateur.

I also used to own a pair of squires and I think I broke them 6 times in just one season. Have been riding fks for 3 years now and never had any major problems.

My squires are perfectly fine for the cheap price point but I don't hit anything big or ski extreme. I just kinda chill and hit some features. I don't abuse my equipment. My only problem with them is the pre releasing. If I try to put pressure on my tips (landing switch or buttering) I will eject a lot. I am also really bad at those things so it may be my bad. I enjoy just sliding rails and hitting some jumps with very basic tricks and carving some groomers. I would recommend a marker griffon over them since they are like $190 on evo right now i think.

I use FKS 180's and Jester pro's. I can agree that the FKS's have better elasticity, which helps it do a better job at keeping me in the binding better without wrecking my knees. The jesters are actually pretty good and having a replaceable brake is nice.

FKS or tyrolias. no reason to use any others
