Mounting Bindings

qyleberryAlright I drilled two holes in my new skis and I realized the were off by just a bit, so will the shop be able to fill them and drill them correctly or did I just fuck myself?

How will the ski be also? Has it just lost a lot of life or am I going to make it through this terrible fuck up

When I had a used pair of skis remounted, the shop had to drill completely separate holes for the new bindings, rather than drilling through part of the plugs. If I had to guess, they will probably have to mount your bindings a cm (maybe less) forward or back of where you drilled your holes. Shouldn't have much impact on life of the ski if you have the holes plugged properly.

Yep, they'll be able to plug them. I had a pair of skis mounted a third time (16 holes in each ski) and they have yet to explode.

why did you just drill two holes in your skis? trying to save $50 for a mount?


they will be able to plug the holes but your going to have to mount a centimetre back from that point and they are going to call you a cheap fucking idiot for trying to mount ski bindings yourself.
