Dslr to Video cam?

Yo M&A I currently have a gh3 and I'm not really digging the whole DSLR thing anymore. I got into filming with a t2i then bought a gh3 last december and now i'm looking to get an actual video camera. Ive been filming a lot of skateboarding this summer and i'm finding myself wanting to get a hvx or something similar to that.

Any suggestions for switching over? Not trying to go 4k or anything crazy like that, just looking for something that is HD, good zoom and decent low light. Not really trying to spend over 1k on a cam. What would be some good cameras for my situation?

you can get handycams for cheaper with similar stats, but they wont look that good. The reason people are using dslr/mirrorless cameras is because they are so cheap and look so good. It'll be hard to get something comparable in quality to your gh3 for under $2k IMO.

there's a hvx200a on adorama for 700 with 0 hours on it, i know its not as high quality as my gh3 but would you suggest it? Classic cam for sure and i think i'd enjoy it a lot. That agac30 looks super sick though. I dunno i'm just tired of having to switch out lenses every single time to get a different shot and i feel like having an actual video camera will be more convenient. I dunno just filming skating all summer got me into a different style and i feel like i'd be able to excel with a camcorder rather than a dslr/mirrorless cam.

didnt really mean this to come out this way, i wanna play around with zoom and shit like that and i feel like i cant really get a smooth zoom with a tele lens compared to a camcorder.

I'd bail on the hvx200, no 1080p60, p2 cards suck, etc.

I'd look at the panasonic hmc-150, its a bit cheaper then some of the newer stuff and seems like a good all around camcorder. They are going for around 700-800 on ebay right now.
